No pictures to post this time, I do have some of the boys that I will post later. But a little about my wonderful weekend full of old friends and new!! I took the day off Friday to spend sometime with my mom, I am so blessed to have her in my life as a mother. She drives me crazy sometimes with all her worrying, but she has the sweetest heart and loves all of us so much. Cunnie (as Gamble so sweetly calls her, because he is a stinker and won’t call her Grammy even though the can say it) and I went furniture shopping because she is looking for a new living room set. Praise the Lord she is getting rid of the floral pukage that is her current set. I have always hated it, ever since they got it over 10 years ago. Then we had lunch and we parted ways, because I had to get a hair cut. Then Friday night, we headed to our friends Wes and Ces’s new house to help them move in some furniture. Love the new house guys!!
Saturday was a very lazy day, Steve helped his brother work on their aunts house, we me and the boys played at the house all day long!! Showered by never got dressed! Then that night, Steve watched the boys so I could go join my favorite people for a well deserved girls night in!!! Needless to say, I was over dressed, thanks for the warning guys! Angie, Julie, Brittany and I headed to Angies for a wonderful dinner and dessert and of course some drinks!! We were planning on watching a movie, even started it too! But none of us could keep our mouths shut, well at least Ang and I couldn’t. Poor Julie and Brit got to relive our crazy high school stories!! Sorry guys! So 4 bottles of wine later I was home at 12:30.
Sunday morning was tough! It was all I could do to get out of the bed to shower for church, wine headache from hell!! Note to self, bring something other then wine to my new super club! But I was up and dressed and made it to church early too!! The whole gang was there, too, sorry that ’s not true we had a slacker absent from the crowd (Angie, we discussed it and we are going to rotate coming to get you every Sunday!!) Then from church to Target, not a good idea spent way too much money! Did have my first sushi ever and it is really good and I am hooked. Finally, Tammy and I headed to Ruston to see my favorite Ruston photographers, Ross Frazier and Kasey Stringer. Kasey Stringer is having a little bundle of join and Ross threw her a shower. Which if you ever need someone to plan and host a shower, Ross is your guy. That was the most educational shower I have ever been too, literally! We had a quiz and everything!! I did know the names of more baby animals then anyone in the group and I guessed the number of Mike and Ikes in the baby bottle! So came with one gift and left with 2 baskets of candle.
So long version of my wonderful weekend full of wonderful people, that I dearly care for…. and I did talk to DeAnn several times, but didn’t get to see her, just want to know that I love her too!!
***Sorry, had a brain fart, I did see DeAnn this weekend, she and the fam came to church again this weekend!!
