Today marks the 11 year anniversary of Steve and I’s first date.  WOW, I can’t believe he has put up with me for that long.  He still surprises me all the time with the little sweet things he does for me, whether cleaning the house, buying my new camera, or planning a girls night out for me.  I am so blessed to have him in my life and to have 2 wonderfully different boys with him.

Since we knew we would with the kids tonight, we had a date nite late Saturday.  We went to dinner, then went and got some drinks and he took me to the Shreveport river front, where we would go before we ever started dating.  It was a wonderful nite, laughing and talking about the past and future and the boys.  Then he surprised and gave me 2 new wedding bands!!!!  I had no clue, we had casually discussed me getting 2 instead of just one, but it is so his style to do it without me knowing.  He picked them out on his own (did i mention he has great taste?).

So now I have to get him a gift that will top his for me.  Going to do some quick shopping at lunch today!!
